Can you make a one-of-a-kind pillow from my photo(s)? Yes, we can - in most cases! Click the above photo to see a pillow we made from a photo a friend took of his daughter hiking into the woods! Perhaps you want only one, or a dozen or more pillows, with an heirloom photo, recent photo of your grandchildren, pets, vacation spot, wedding ... the list goes on and on! Maybe you want one pillow of a cherished photograph, or want to give many for seasonal gifts. Almost any photo can now be featured on your own Balsam Fir-filled pillow(s)! How is this done? Through the process of sublimation almost any photo can be printed on our Balsam Fir pillows. If you are familiar with screen-printing, this process goes a step further in technology, and results! How do I get my photo(s) to you? You can send us your photo(s) through the mail, or e-mail us a digital photo. We advise against sending us your only copy of a treasured photo through the mail. We'll send it back with your pillow(s) but we're not responsible for photos lost in transit or otherwise - as can occasionally happen. E-mailing us a digital photo is best. If you do not have a method of converting a photo to a digital format, many retail stores (such as Wal-Mart) have devices that will do this for you. It's easy and you don't have to have any special knowledge to do it. How long does it take for me to get my pillow(s)? Turnaround time is normally around 2 weeks from the time you order until we get your pillow to you. This may take a few more days, or a few less days, depending on several factors - including shipping. Can I do this with any photo? You can use almost any photo that you own unless the image is copyrighted (taken by a professional photo studio without permission to duplicate), the image is distasteful, or of too poor of a photographic quality to reasonably transfer to a pillow. We reserve the right to reject any photo(s). How big will the pillow(s) be? The size of the pillow depends on the size of your photo. The largest size would be 9 inches on each side. Rectangular photos will make rectangular pillows unless you want us to crop the photo (which we can do). Common sizes will be 9" X 7". We can not tell exactly how big the pillow will be until the fabric returns from the printer but we can usually make a close estimate. How much does this cost? It depends on the size and quantity of pillows ordered. For a single pillow, the price is $10 higher than a comparable sized pillow on our site. If you order in quantity, the price drops as the price of printing multiple pillows is cheaper than doing just one or two.
